The Federal District Information Technology Companies Association – SINDESEI/DF – was founded in Brasília on September 9, 1991. Created to represent and defend the interests of business owners in the IT sector, the association is committed to fostering business growth and contributing to the economic development of the Federal District.
SINDESEI-DF is affiliated with the Trade Federation of Goods, Services and Tourism of the Federal District (FECOMÉRCIO-DF), which in turn is part of the National Confederation of Commerce (CNC). It is also a member of SICOMÉRCIO and is officially recognized by public authorities as the representative entity of the information technology business sector in the Federal District. The association actively engages with the Legislative Chamber, the National Congress, and both federal and district executive branches.
